Why I Start Blogging in 2026
short article
Time is precious and limited. I tend to fill my calendar with countless projects, and now this blog is part of the list. Three reasons pushed me to finally commit:
- Writing when you know it will be seen forces a no BS filter on the thought process.
- I own the blog's domain, I own the code, I control how my digital piece of land looks like.
- I can show my work in an unintrusive way.
I've been writing for a while in the dark, and as I tried to write articles for fun, I noticed this shift in my thinking process whereas before I could write endlessly, maybe to compensate for lack of clarity. Blogging in short forces clarity of thought.
Love social media, but there is something about knowing that at the end of the day, you have a place that is yours that holds a piece of your mind. Social media is renting, a website is owning.
Blogging still feels like a great lane for growing a web presence long-term. People will always need to read, and readers will always seek new perspectives. Hope I can contribute to one of your projects indirectly or directly through my writing.
